生態永續發展協會的夥伴們：
今年七月，台灣永續能源研究基金會(TAISE)在世貿舉行2023亞太永續博覽會，感謝協會成員共襄盛舉，並在會場舉辦「使命發布會暨成果分享會」，如今更將其中內容集結成冊出版，不僅留下美好的紀錄，更促使協會理念與活動成效持續擴散。
TAISE成立至今進入第17年，我們一直致力透過倡議、教育、獎勵、論壇與會展等方式，帶動社會各界重視永續發展價值並起而行動，也積極與各方夥伴合作，因為正如聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs)第17項，「夥伴關係」將是達成永續目標的關鍵要素。
為了推動永續發展、綠色經濟等理念與實踐之道，永續生態發展協會扮演知識與技術載體的角色，連結不同領域學者專家共同努力，致力推動環境共好。這樣的目標與TAISE過去耕耘的方向一致，很高興能在這條邁向永續的路上與協會同行。
永續發展理想的實現，需要仰賴所有人共同付出，每個人的努力都是這個過程中不可或缺的一環。從節約用水到改變生活方式，從小至大的每一個行動，都能為生態永續帶來實質貢獻。我一直相信，這是一場集體的行動，唯有每個人都參與其中，每一個小小的行動，就能匯聚成巨大的力量。
永續發展並非犧牲經濟成長，而是在追求發展同時，還要保護我們共同的家園、不損及下一代滿足需求的權益，也就是不要「竭澤而漁」。如何能以更理性、謹慎的態度找到平衡，需要我們一起發揮智慧、採取行動。
讓我們攜手前行，為了子孫後代和這個美麗的地球，建立一個更綠色與永續的未來！

To the Partners of the Ecological Sustainability Development Association,
This July, the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) successfully hosted the 2023 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo at the Taipei World Trade Center. We sincerely thank the Association’s members for their active participation and for organizing the “Mission Release and Achievement Sharing Forum.” The content has now been compiled into a publication, serving not only as a meaningful record but also as a means to extend and amplify the Association’s vision and impact.
Now in its 17th year, TAISE has continued to promote the value of sustainable development through advocacy, education, recognition, forums, and exhibitions. We believe in the importance of cross-sector collaboration—as emphasized by Goal 17 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): “Partnerships” are key to achieving sustainability.
As a carrier of knowledge and technology, the Ecological Sustainability Development Association has played a crucial role in promoting concepts such as green economy and sustainable development. It connects scholars and experts across disciplines to collectively strive toward a better environment. This aligns closely with the long-standing mission of TAISE, and we are pleased to walk this path together with your Association.
The realization of sustainable development relies on the collective efforts of everyone. Every individual’s contribution is indispensable—from saving water to changing personal habits, every action, no matter how small, adds up to meaningful impact. I truly believe that sustainability is a collective movement, and that when everyone takes part, small actions can generate great power.
Sustainable development does not mean sacrificing economic growth; rather, it means pursuing progress while protecting our shared home and safeguarding the rights of future generations. We must avoid “draining the pond to catch the fish.” Striking this balance requires collective wisdom and action.
Let us walk forward together and create a greener, more sustainable future—for our descendants and for this beautiful planet.
